Social science research findings demonstrate that a child's earliest experiences significantly influence her or his future development in a positive or negative manner. These experiences include our children's educational development and determines their contributions, or costs, to society over the course of their lives. (UNESCO).
CEF begins with educational access at the Infant and Basic School level, because strong early educational foundations foster personal growth and social responsibility. This solid foundation in education is imperative to achieve positive contributions from youths in our society.
CEF operates the following programs to meet its mission:
OUR PROGRAMS
1. EARLY CHILDHOOD SCHOOL
Infant & Basic Schools
· Provide access to education through Education Grants to basic school children in financial need.
2. PRIMARY SCHOOL
· Provide access to education through Education Scholarships to primary school children in financial need.
3. HIGH & SECONDARY SCHOOL
· Provide Education Scholarships to students in high/secondary or technical schools who are in financial need: school fees, books, school supplies, uniforms, lunch and transportation.
4. UNIVERSITIES & TECHNICAL COLLEGES
· Provide access to education through scholarships to university and college students in financial need: on campus housing, books, tuition, transportation, lunch.
5. EMPLOYMENT INTERNSHIPS
· For scholarship recipients: Help to facilitate student internships with sponsor corporations and other organizations to scholarship recipients in order that potential graduates will have meaningful prospects for employment upon graduation.
